Hillah: A young man and his mother were killed in an armed attack south of Hillah, the capital of Babylon Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, gunmen opened fire on the young man and his mother in front of their home in Al-Shomali district, south of Hillah, killing them both.

The police have initiated an investigation into the incident and launched a search for the perpetrators.
