Basra: A number of students were injured during a school picnic to an amusement park in Basra.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, several students from Madinat al-Mudun Intermediate School were injured in an accident while riding a roller coaster. The ride crashed to the ground, causing varying degrees of injury. Some students remained trapped in the ride until teachers intervened to rescue them.
