Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has instructed the creation of a specialized technical committee to examine the mechanisms for loading and shipping oil products. A statement from the Prime Minister's office detailed that al-Sudani presided over a meeting focused on organizing maritime transport operations for oil products. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting addressed the necessary mechanisms to maximize revenues through increased oil product pumping. Discussions included activating maritime transport activities and finding solutions to accelerate and develop oil tanker loading operations, while overcoming factors that affect the pace of work. The meeting further explored measures required to enhance port berth development, aimed at increasing the efficiency of pumping and loading exported oil products under various operational conditions. Prime Minister al-Sudani's directive for a specialized technical committee aims to study these mechanisms and submit recommendations with in days, to boost transport and export efficiency.
