Amman: Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Ahmed Al-Asadi met with his Tunisian counterpart, Issam Al-Ahmar, on the sidelines of the 45th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs, held in the Jordanian capital, Amman. During this meeting, the ministers focused on enhancing bilateral relations between Iraq and Tunisia, acknowledging the deep historical and cultural ties that form a solid foundation for collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions centered on reinforcing and expanding cooperation in labor and social affairs. Key areas of focus included the exchange of institutional expertise and experiences, strengthening cooperation in training and capacity-building programs, and enhancing the skilled labor sector to support the labor markets in both countries. These efforts aim to foster a robust partnership that benefits both nations through shared knowledge and resources.
