Hindu kush: An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale struck the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan today, Friday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the German Research Centre for Geosciences reported that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers, with no immediate reports of casualties or damage.

Last month, at least 27 people were killed and hundreds injured when a 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck northern Afghanistan.
