Baghdad: FIFA President Gianni Infantino confirmed that Arabic will be the most widely used language at the upcoming World Cup.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Infantino stated, "Iraq still has a chance to qualify for the World Cup, and if it does, the number of Arabic-speaking countries will reach eight." He emphasized the potential impact of this on the tournament.
Infantino further mentioned, "This means that the World Cup will speak Arabic; Arabic will be the most widely used language at the next World Cup in North America, or at least one of the most widely used. I am very much looking forward to this, because Arabs bring an unparalleled passion to the game."
