Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today that its forces have taken control of a new town in eastern Ukraine. In a press release, the Ministry stated that its "Southern" forces managed to seize control of the town of Sviato Pokrovskoye in Donetsk.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Ukrainian armed forces suffered losses exceeding 215 soldiers, combat vehicles, and a number of field artillery pieces. Additionally, it was noted that three ammunition depots were destroyed during the operation.
