Russian Defense Ministry: 48 Hostile Drones Destroyed

The russian ministry of defense announced today: '36 drones were destroyed over the Bryansk region, 9 over the Belgorod region, 2 over the Kaluga region, and 1 over the Kursk region.'

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the incident marks a significant operation by the Russian armed forces in response to the increased drone activity in these regions. The Ministry emphasized the effectiveness of its air defense systems in protecting its airspace from potential threats.

The Bryansk region, which saw the highest number of intercepted drones, is located in western Russia. The Belgorod region, where nine drones were destroyed, borders Ukraine, highlighting the strategic importance of monitoring airspace in that area. The Kaluga and Kursk regions also reported successful interceptions, with two and one drone destroyed, respectively.
