Balad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has announced the inauguration and launch of new service projects in the districts of Balad and Dujail. This announcement was made during his attendance at the "Balad of Steadfastness" festival, which was held in the Balad district of Salah al-Din Governorate. The festival marked the 11th anniversary of the end of the siege on Balad and the liberation of its surrounding areas from ISIS terrorist forces.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Prime Minister al-Sudani used the occasion to highlight the significance of the area in the fight against ISIS. He stated that the initial signs of victory were seen on this land, where ISIS suffered major defeats. Al-Sudani noted the eagerness of Iraqis to rid their country of foreign threats and criminal elements.

In his speech, al-Sudani paid tribute to the men who responded to the religious authority's call to arms, joining the front lines in the battle against terrorism. He described the victory against ISIS as a pivotal moment and a strong message to anyone considering infringing upon Iraq's sovereignty or threatening its security and stability.
