CTS Forces Capture Two Terrorists in Babylon and Kirkuk


Baghdad: Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) forces arrested two terrorists in Babylon and Kirkuk.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the CTS announced that its forces conducted operations aimed at pursuing remnants of ISIS terrorist gangs in various operational sectors. These operations were supported by precise intelligence, continuous field efforts, and judicial arrest warrants.



The CTS reported that the operations led to the arrest of two terrorists in the governorates of Babylon and Kirkuk. Additionally, CTS forces carried out a large-scale search and sweep operation in the Salah al-Din Governorate, specifically in the Tuz Khurmatu District within the Balkana Mountains. This operation, which spanned several hours, resulted in the destruction of eight hideouts, dens, and temporary shelters that were used by terrorist elements.
