Moscow: Russian Foreign Minister Dmitry Lyubinsky has called on Washington to abandon any plans to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities, emphasizing Russia’s readiness to assist in finding diplomatic solutions.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Lyubinsky delivered a speech in Geneva during a high-level meeting of the Group of Friends of the UN Charter. The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that Lyubinsky urged the United States and its allies to forgo any military action against Iran’s nuclear sites. He emphasized the importance of providing guarantees that no military confrontation would ensue. Russia expressed its willingness to support efforts to resume diplomatic negotiations concerning Iran’s nuclear program.
