Baghdad: The Head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Faleh al-Fayyad, welcomed the Head of the Al-Asas Coalition, Mohsen al-Mandalawi, on Tuesday to discuss critical national issues.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussion focused on the general situation in the country, with particular attention to the ongoing dialogues aimed at fulfilling constitutional entitlements. These entitlements notably encompass the election of a new president and the formation of a new government.

Both leaders underscored the necessity of resolving these constitutional obligations in a manner that aligns with the country’s best interests, satisfies the aspirations of its citizens, and aids in consolidating stability and reinforcing the constitutional process.
