Baghdad: The Coordination Framework has reaffirmed Iraq’s dedication to upholding international resolutions and its intention to cultivate robust relationships with countries globally, with a particular focus on neighboring nations.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Framework’s media office disclosed in a press release that the Coordination Framework convened its 263rd regular meeting at the office of Sheikh Humam Hamoudi on Monday evening to assess ongoing developments. The organization underscored Iraq’s right to secure its national entitlements and the rights of its citizens, including the submission of maritime border maps to the United Nations.
Domestically, the meeting attendees reiterated their commitment to the unity and cohesion of the Coordination Framework, maintaining the confidence consistently placed in them by voters during elections. The Coordination Framework urged the two principal Kurdish parties to expedite the resolution of the presidential election to ensure the safeguardin
g of national entitlements.
In relation to the tensions between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States, the Coordination Framework advocated for prioritizing dialogue and taking advantage of the positive negotiation atmosphere in Geneva, emphasizing that conflict only exacerbates issues.
