Istanbul: Turkish security forces announced the arrest of 11 suspected members of the ISIS terrorist organization in Istanbul.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, counter-terrorism and intelligence forces in Istanbul carried out security operations in coordination with the Istanbul Public Prosecutor’s Office. These efforts are part of ongoing initiatives to prevent ISIS activities and identify its members.
The sources revealed that the investigations successfully identified suspects and their locations, who were allegedly involved in activities related to the organization. These suspects were also reportedly engaged in propaganda and promotion on social media platforms. In response, security teams executed simultaneous raids on the identified addresses, leading to the arrest of 11 suspects. These individuals have been transferred to the Security Directorate for the completion of legal procedures against them.
