The Palestinian Foreign Ministry Commends Iraq for Support and Refugee Aid


Baghdad: The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its appreciation for the support provided by the Iraqi government and its people towards the legitimate national rights of Palestine, including freedom and independence. The Ministry highlighted the humanitarian assistance offered by Iraq, particularly in caring for Palestinian refugees and wounded Palestinians receiving treatment within Iraq. Emphasizing the importance of these efforts, the Ministry reiterated its commitment to strengthening fraternal relations and cooperation with Iraq and its citizens.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Minister Farsin Shahin affirmed Palestine’s steadfast and principled stance of non-interference in the internal matters of other states, while respecting their autonomy in line with international law and the United Nations Charter. Shahin underscored the necessity of resolving differences between fraternal states through responsible dialogue and peaceful means, prioritizing mutual respect, sovereign equality, and regional stability.



The Minister further stated that Palestine remains dedicated to enhancing Arab and regional cooperation and solidarity, aiming to foster an environment of stability and integration. This commitment is intended to advance the aspirations of the region’s people for security, development, and peace.
