Basra: Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Oil Minister Hayyan Abdul-Ghani Al-Sawad confirmed that work is continuing at the West Qurna 2 and Majnoon oil fields at full production capacity.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry stated in a press release that the Minister met with the head of the Oil and Gas Committee in the Basra Provincial Council, Iman Al-Maliki, and a number of workers at the West Qurna 2 and Majnoon oil fields.

During the meeting, the Minister emphasized the importance of the two oil fields, indicating that work is continuing at them at full production capacity. The Minister reassured the workers that their demands would be considered within the legal and administrative frameworks.
