Diyala: A joint security force has successfully apprehended a wanted individual under Article 4/Terrorism of the Counter-Terrorism Law north of Baquba, the capital of Diyala Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrest was made by a coordinated effort involving the Diyala Police, the Intelligence Directorate, and the Counter-Terrorism Directorate. The operation was executed following precise intelligence regarding the suspect’s attempted entry into Al-Khalis district center.

The apprehended individual has been transferred to the requesting authority to proceed with the necessary legal actions.
