Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi have underscored the importance of unifying the positions of national forces and working responsibly to address the challenges facing the nation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Prime Minister al-Sudani’s media office released a statement following his meeting with Speaker al-Halbousi, which took place on Saturday. The statement highlighted discussions on the country’s general situation and recent security developments in the region, stressing the necessity of a united front among national forces to confront these challenges effectively, ensuring the preservation of Iraq’s interests.

The statement further elaborated on the importance of ongoing dialogue and communication among all political parties. It emphasized the need to adhere to constitutional obligations through a framework grounded in partnership, with a focus on prioritizing public interest and meeting the needs and aspirations of citizens.
