Israeli Airstrikes on Lebanon Result in Nearly 400 Deaths

Beirut: The death toll from Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon has risen to 394, with over 1,000 wounded in a week, according to the Lebanese Minister of Health.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Health Minister Rakan Nasser al-Din addressed a press conference, revealing that the casualties include 83 children and 42 women, in addition to 1,130 wounded individuals.

Nasser al-Din criticized the targeting of medical facilities and ambulance crews, highlighting the impact on civilians, “homes, paramedics, and the health sector.” He confirmed that nine paramedics have been killed since the war commenced last Monday, and four hospitals have sustained “partial” damages.

The conflict, which involves Israel and Hezbollah, is approaching its second week, with ongoing hostilities between the parties. The Israeli army has repeatedly advised residents in Beirut’s southern suburbs and southern Lebanon to evacuate.

A prior report from the Ministry of Health on Saturday recorded 294 deaths since the conflict began.
