Baghdad: The annual conference on the Arbaeen pilgrimage was held in Karbala, chaired by the Governor of the Holy City, Engineer Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi. The conference gathered key officials, including the Deputy Chairman of the Provincial Council, the First Deputy Governor, members of the Provincial Council, the Chief of Police, the Commander of the Middle Euphrates Operations, and representatives from the General Secretariats of the Holy Shrines of Imam Hussein and Abbas.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the conference featured a detailed examination of the security, service, health, and transportation plans for the Arba’een Pilgrimage. Discussions focused on identifying challenges and proposing solutions to ensure the provision of optimal services to the millions of pilgrims expected to attend.
The Governor underscored the need for intensified field efforts and enhanced coordination among various departments. Emphasis was placed on adhering to the planned timelines to ensure the success of the pilgrimage and maintain the sanctity of the holy city of Karbala.
