Al-Zaidi Returns to the Capital, Baghdad


Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi returned to Baghdad. Al-Zaidi visited the United States at the official invitation of US President Donald Trump, then traveled to Qatar to offer condolences to its Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on the death of his father, the late Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s visit to the United States marks a significant diplomatic engagement between the two nations. The invitation from Trump underscores the ongoing dialogue and cooperation on various bilateral and regional issues.



Following his visit to the United States, Al-Zaidi’s stop in Qatar highlights the diplomatic ties and mutual respect shared between Iraq and Qatar. Offering condolences to the Emir reflects Iraq’s commitment to maintaining strong relationships with neighboring countries in the region.
