Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi received today, Wednesday, the President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani. During the meeting, they discussed the overall political, economic, and security situation at the national level and emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination between the Federal Government and the Kurdistan Regional Government. This aims to contribute to consolidating stability, unifying efforts to address shared challenges, and serving the interests of all Iraqis.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister affirmed the government's commitment to resolving all outstanding issues in accordance with the Constitution and the law, in a manner that preserves Iraq's unity and sovereignty and strengthens the national partnership.

For his part, Nechirvan Barzani stressed the importance of maintaining dialogue and coordination among all national parties. He reaffirmed the Kurdistan Regional Government's support for the Federal Government's efforts to strengthen stability, advance national development, and deepen cooperation in a manner that serves Iraq's supreme national interest.
