The Judiciary Recovers 20 Billion Iraqi Dinars in Financial and Administrative Corruption Case

Baghdad: Rusafa Investigative Court on Sunday recovered 20 billion Iraqi dinars in a financial and administrative corruption case. The Supreme Judicial Council announced this significant recovery, highlighting the efforts being made to combat corruption and uphold integrity within financial institutions.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Rusafa Investigative Court, which specializes in integrity and money laundering cases, spearheaded the recovery of these funds. This action is part of a broader initiative to address financial and administrative corruption crimes, as well as financial fraud offenses. The court emphasized that legal proceedings will continue against those who engage in unlawful practices to gain profits at the expense of public funds.
