Hillah: Seven pilgrims visiting the Arbaeen commemoration were injured in a traffic accident south of Hilla. The incident occurred when two vehicles collided in the Al-Shomali district, which is located south of Hillah.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brigadier General Zaher Mohammed, Director of Media for the Babil Traffic Police, stated that the injured individuals were returning to their home provinces when the accident took place. The injured were subsequently transferred to Hillah Surgical Hospital for treatment.
The police have commenced an investigation to determine the cause of the collision. The details regarding the circumstances leading up to the accident are still under review.
