Baghdad: The Iraqi Meteorological Organization predicted on Sunday that the country will experience increased dust and rising temperatures in the coming days. A statement from the organization indicated that Monday's weather will be generally clear with some clouds appearing in the eastern parts of the central and northern regions. Northwesterly winds will be moderate, causing light dust in the central and southern regions. Temperatures will be similar to those recorded the previous day across the country, and horizontal visibility will be very good (8-10 km), decreasing to (5-7 km) in dusty conditions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the maximum temperatures for Monday in all Iraqi governorates are as follows: Dohuk and Sulaymaniyah 44°C, Erbil 46°C, Nineveh and Anbar 47°C, Kirkuk 48°C, Baghdad, Salah al-Din, Diyala, Najaf, Karbala, Babylon, Wasit, Diwaniyah, and Muthanna 49°C, and Maysan, Dhi Qar, and Basra 50°C.

The agency added that Tuesday's weather will be generally clear with some clouds appearing in the eastern parts of the country, and temperatures will be similar to those recorded the previous day across the country.

The forecast further indicated that Wednesday's weather will be generally clear with some clouds appearing in the eastern parts of the central and southern regions, and temperatures will rise slightly in the central and southern regions and remain similar in the northern region.

The report concluded that Thursday's weather will be generally clear, with temperatures remaining similar to those recorded the previous day across the country.
