Baghdad: The Najaf Police Command has refuted circulating reports of a significant fight between members of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) and officers from the Al-Haydariya Police Station. In a recent statement, the Najaf Police Command clarified that what was reported as a major brawl resulting in injuries to seven people was, in fact, a minor physical altercation between a member of the Emergency Police in the Al-Haydariya district and a PMF member, without any injuries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Najaf Police Command emphasized that the reports circulating on social media were inaccurate. The statement further mentioned that legal procedures have been initiated, and investigative reports have been prepared for both parties involved. The case has been referred to the relevant judiciary for necessary legal actions.
