Karbala: A professor at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad embodies the Husseini cause in a popular theatrical work entitled (Yazid in the year 1448). Ali Rahim Al-Bakri, a professor at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad, presented a theatrical work entitled 'Yazid in the Year 1448,' which he wrote and directed. The work drew its themes from the timeless Husseini cause and the values ??of truth, justice, sacrifice, and reform it represents.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the performance took place near the shrine of the Master of Martyrs, Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), coinciding with the arrival of millions of pilgrims to commemorate the Arba'een pilgrimage. It was attended by a massive audience of millions and received a great deal of interaction from the pilgrims, who were captivated by its profound intellectual and humanitarian messages, which evoked the principles of the Husseini uprising in a moving artistic style.

The performance embodied a directorial vision that reflected the power of theatrical art to address the collective conscience through a dramatic treatment that drew inspiration from the significance of the Battle of Karbala and connected it to the reality of contemporary humanity. It emphasized that the message of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) will remain a beacon of freedom and dignity, and a bulwark against injustice in every time and place.
