Baghdad: The Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice, Ziyad Khalifa al-Tamimi, recently held a meeting with Dr. Omar Maan al-Karawi, the Head of the Diyala Provincial Council, to explore avenues for strengthening cooperation between the Ministry of Justice and the local government. The primary focus of this collaboration is to enhance the performance of judicial departments within the province and to elevate the quality of services provided to its citizens.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions during the meeting revolved around assessing the current status of the judicial departments in Diyala, identifying the most pressing challenges, and finding solutions through collaborative efforts and improved work mechanisms. The initiative is in line with the Ministry's goals of advancing institutional performance and streamlining judicial procedures.

The Senior Undersecretary highlighted the Ministry of Justice's dedication, guided by Minister Dr. Khalid Shawani, to bolster cooperation with local governments.
