Baghdad: Ammunition exploded inside Camp Taji due to high temperatures. The Security Media Cell announced today, Sunday, that the explosion occurred in the ammunition storage area of the camp.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the cell stated in a press release, "An explosion occurred in ammunition inside Camp Taji due to high temperatures." The statement emphasized the impact of the extreme heat on the stored ammunition, leading to the unexpected explosion.

It added that Civil Defense teams are continuing to fight the fire. Efforts are ongoing to contain the situation and prevent any further damage or risk to personnel in the area.
