Hilla: A pharmacist lost his life in a hit-and-run accident while on duty at a medical clinic in the Abi Gharq district, west of Hilla. The incident occurred on the Ya Hussein road, which serves Arbaeen pilgrims, resulting in the immediate death of Dr. Sajjad Ali Habib Al-Rubaie.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brigadier General Zaher Mohammed, Director of Media for the Babil Traffic Police, confirmed the unfortunate event. He stated that Dr. Sajjad Ali Habib Al-Rubaie was performing his duties when he was struck by a vehicle. The impact of the collision led to his instantaneous death.

The police have transferred Dr. Al-Rubaie's body to the forensic medicine department for further examination. An investigation into the circumstances of the accident has been initiated to determine the details surrounding the incident and to identify the responsible party.
