Baghdad: First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Adnan Faihan al-Dulaimi affirmed on Sunday that passing the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) law is a fitting tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs and wounded and the heroism of its members. According to Iraqi News Agency, the media office of the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament stated in a press release that Faihan emphasized the significance of passing the PMF law as a recognition of the efforts and sacrifices made by the forces.
"The Parliament's presidency supports the legislation of this important law and urges the government to send it to Parliament in the coming days," he added. The statement underlines the Parliament's commitment to advancing the legislation process for the PMF law, highlighting its importance in honoring those who have served and suffered in the line of duty.
