Baghdad: President Nizar Amedi emphasized to Lieutenant General Abdul Amir al-Shammari, Director of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, on Monday, the importance of strengthening coordination among security agencies to ensure readiness, protect the country, and consolidate stability.
According to Iraqi News Agency, the Presidential Media Office stated in a statement that "President Nizar Amedi received Lieutenant General Abdul Amir al-Shammari, Director of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, in Baghdad."
The meeting addressed several files related to security and military affairs and discussed ways to improve the performance of security and military institutions. The President stressed the importance of continuing joint work and supporting efforts aimed at protecting the country and consolidating stability within it.
Lieutenant General Abdul Amir al-Shammari, for his part, reviewed the most prominent developments related to security and military matters, emphasizing the continuation of coordination and cooperation with relevant authorities in a way that enhances security in the country and protects citizens and their interests.
