Diyala: A meeting was held in Diyala to discuss mechanisms for implementing the Prime Minister’s initiative to provide one million residential plots of land. Diyala Governor Adnan al-Shammari led the meeting, which focused on the procedures and steps needed to implement this initiative within the governorate.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting was attended by the Deputy Governor for Technical Affairs, Hassan al-Jubouri, along with directors of relevant departments. The discussions centered around identifying land plots and preparing for the necessary technical and legal steps required for the initiative’s implementation. The emphasis was placed on ensuring coordination and cooperation among the concerned parties to fulfill the initiative’s requirements in line with legal and administrative protocols.
The Deputy Governor for Technical Affairs highlighted to a correspondent from NINA the meeting’s focus on supporting government initiatives designed to provide residential land for citizens. This effort aligns with the local government’s goals in Diyala Governorate to tackle the housing issue and secure suitable land for residents.
