Baghdad: The Ministry of Education has announced that computer science teachers are now allowed to teach mathematics. This decision was made public through a letter from the General Directorate of Curricula.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the General Directorate of Public, Private, and Foreign Education stated that computer science teachers can be assigned to teach mathematics only after they have completed their required teaching load in their respective schools. This measure will be implemented to address the shortage of mathematics teachers, as long as the need is genuine and follows the regulations outlined in the official letter.
