Ankara: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held talks on Tuesday with his Qatari counterpart, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and his Syrian counterpart, Asaad Hassan Al Shaibani, covering several issues. This came in two separate phone calls.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, sources in the Turkish Foreign Ministry revealed that Fidan engaged in discussions with Al Thani regarding the situation in the Strait of Hormuz. In his conversation with Al Shaibani, Fidan addressed the latest developments in the region.

The sources did not provide further details about the content of the talks.
