Zurbatiya: An attempt to smuggle various types of cigarettes was thwarted at the Zarbatia border crossing. The Zurbatiya border crossing directorate successfully intercepted 381 packs of various cigarette brands concealed under the seats of a passenger bus.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Border Ports Authority revealed in a press release that a formal seizure report was filed. The suspect involved, along with the contraband, was transferred to the Zurbatiya Customs Police Station for legal action.
