Mosul: The governor of Nineveh, Abdul Qadir al-Dakhil, held a significant meeting with Sheikh Nayef al-Jasso, the representative of the victims’ families from the Sinjar region, alongside Yazidi citizen Saif Waad Allah, an eyewitness to the Sulaq massacre also known as the Mothers’ Grave.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Saif Waad Allah provided a detailed account of the massacre during the meeting, demanding comprehensive justice for the victims’ families and the restoration of their rights. He urged for accountability for all individuals involved in committing crimes against the Yazidis and the people of Nineveh.
Governor al-Dakhil, speaking to the Iraqi National News Agency, emphasized the role of the Iraqi judiciary as the ultimate authority in prosecuting those responsible for the atrocities against the Yazidis and other communities in Nineveh. He assured that justice would be served, and all those proven guilty would face retribution for their crimes.
