Ministry of Justice Launches Automated System for Real Estate Transactions

Baghdad: The Ministry of Justice has announced the introduction of an automated system aimed at streamlining sales and purchase transactions at the Al-Kadhimiya First Real Estate Registry.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry revealed on Tuesday that this new system will handle various transactions, including sales, purchases, demolitions, transfers, inheritances, and corrections. The initiative is designed to enhance work mechanisms, simplify procedures, and expedite the completion of transactions.

The Ministry explained that the Directorate has started electronically archiving files, records, and encumbrances alongside the new system’s implementation. This move is expected to boost accuracy, reduce dependency on paper-based procedures, and improve service efficiency for the public.

The statement further indicated that there are plans to gradually extend the system’s reach to all real estate registration directorates across Baghdad and other provinces. This expansion will follow a specific timetable to ensure proper implementation and continuous service provision. The initiative aligns with the Ministry of Justice’s broader goals of fostering digital transformation, enhancing judicial services, and ensuring speed, accuracy, and transparency in real estate transactions.
