Baghdad: The Ministry of Planning held a meeting today, Tuesday, to finalize the annual admission plan for medical, health, and allied health colleges. This meeting, conducted under Cabinet Resolution No. (92) of 2020, was chaired by the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Technical Affairs, Dr. Maher Hammad Johaan.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting addressed key recommendations previously submitted by the committee to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Discussions included the calculation mechanism for determining the required admission plan for the medical, health, allied health, and nursing groups.

The committee reviewed several official documents from the Ministry of Planning and the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers. These documents related to the committee’s ongoing work and the mechanisms for calculating the upcoming years’ admission plans. An agreement was reached on updating necessary data to ensure the committee’s continued operation in line with approved requirements.
