Baghdad: The head of the Iraqi Artists Syndicate, Dr. Jabbar Jawdi, held a meeting with Hind Mahmoud Shbeeb, Director of the Women’s Affairs Department at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities, to affirm his support for female employees in cultural institutions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting took place at Dr. Jawdi’s office in Al-Rashid Theater. It was attended by Rasha Saad, Head of the Coordination Support and Operations Management Division, and media personality Wasan Al-Abdali, who represented the Women’s Affairs Division at the Cinema and Theater Department. The discussion centered on the current state of women’s work in cultural institutions and explored ideas to enhance their roles in line with the National Strategy for Iraqi Women.

Dr. Jawdi expressed his commitment to supporting women, emphasizing their significant contribution to institutional development through their capabilities and potential. He highlighted the importance of empowering women to enhance creativity and raise performance levels within cultural institutions.
