Sulaimaniyah: Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani held a phone call with Governor Haval Abubakr to discuss the recent developments in Sulaimaniyah Governorate. Barzani expressed his regret over the fires that erupted in the area last night and today.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister directed the governor and relevant authorities to enhance safety measures to protect citizens’ lives and property. He reiterated the government’s commitment to providing necessary support to the Sulaimaniyah Governorate during this challenging time.

The Prime Minister also conveyed his wishes for a swift recovery for those injured in the incidents. Reports indicate that two major fires occurred in an oil depot and a gas station in the governorate, with the first incident resulting in numerous injuries.
