Baghdad: The General Secretariat of the Holy Military Shrine announced today the start of the actual implementation of the comprehensive security and service plan for commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hassan al-Askari (peace be upon him).

According to Iraqi News Agency, the head of the Million-Person Pilgrimage Committee at the Holy Al-Askari Shrine, Sayyid Ali Al-Zamili, stated that the comprehensive plan has been put into action. The initiative aims to ensure the smooth commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary, focusing on security and service aspects for the event.

He further explained that all departments of the shrine, along with supporting agencies, are on full alert. This preparation is crucial for accommodating the millions of pilgrims expected to arrive in the city of Samarra for the commemoration.

The plan involves direct field coordination with security, health, and service departments. This coordination is vital for enhancing organization, ensuring smooth movement of pilgrims, and providing optimal services throughout the visit, Al-Zamili added.
