Weather Update: Clear Skies and Rising Temperatures Expected in Iraq


Baghdad: The Iraqi Meteorological Organization forecasts clear skies with rising dust and temperatures in the coming days.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the organization stated that Thursday’s weather will be clear, with moderate northwesterly winds that will occasionally become active, causing dust storms in some areas. Temperatures are predicted to be slightly higher than today in the central and northern regions, while the southern regions will experience similar temperatures to today. The minimum temperature in Baghdad today was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius, with an expected maximum of 42 degrees Celsius.



The statement further revealed that Friday’s weather will be clear across the country, with temperatures slightly higher than today. Winds during this period are expected to be light to moderate northwesterly. Additionally, Saturday’s weather will maintain clear conditions, with temperatures remaining consistent across the country. Winds are anticipated to be light to moderate northwesterly.
