Baghdad: The Baghdad Operations Command announced that its law enforcement units are providing protection for the peaceful demonstrations by engineers and farmers, which began this morning in front of the Ministry of Finance in the Rusafa district.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Command stated in a press release that thorough searches of individuals were initiated, and intersections were secured to provide the highest level of security for the demonstrators. The measures are aimed at protecting both public and private property while upholding human rights principles and maintaining public order.
