Baghdad: The Ministry of Planning continues its field monitoring of non-governmental consulting offices in Baghdad, as part of its commitment to ensuring these offices adhere to the established conditions and standards for practicing consulting activities in Iraq.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a specialized committee within the Ministry conducted an on-site inspection today, Wednesday, of the Hasm Financial and Economic Consulting Services office in Baghdad to verify its compliance with the established requirements and regulations.
The committee’s work included auditing the office’s basic data, reviewing its legal documents and records, and examining the actual work site to verify the availability of the necessary administrative and technical requirements for practicing consulting activities, in accordance with applicable regulations and instructions.
These procedures are part of the requirements for establishing and renewing licenses for non-governmental consulting offices, which include providing detailed information about the office and its director, and precisely defining its area of specialization. This enhances transparency and reinforces adherence to the established regulations and instructions.
The ministry affirmed its continued implementation of monitoring programs and on-site inspections of non-governmental consulting firms, contributing to enhanced compliance with regulations and improved consulting performance across various specializations.
