Baghdad: The First Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Adnan Faihan al-Dulaimi, received the Speaker of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, along with his high-level parliamentary delegation at Baghdad International Airport on Wednesday morning. Faihan warmly welcomed Ghalibaf and his delegation, underscoring the deep-rooted historical ties that have long united Iraq and Iran. He highlighted the shared bonds that exist between the two brotherly nations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Faihan stressed the significance of the visit in reinforcing parliamentary cooperation and broadening the scope of joint coordination. He noted that such efforts will be instrumental in developing bilateral relations and serving the mutual interests of both the Iraqi and Iranian peoples.
