Basra: The Civil Defense Directorate in Basra convened with various health institutions to deliberate on enhancing safety and prevention measures within governmental and private health sectors.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting was chaired by Engineer Zaid Al-Imara, the Deputy Governor for Technical Affairs and Head of the Civil Defense Committee. Key attendees included Brigadier General Mazen Mohammed Lafteh, Director of Civil Defense, and Abbas Al-Tamimi, Director General of the Provincial Health Department. The agenda focused on discussing and implementing safety and prevention strategies in health institutions.

The gathering saw active participation from directors of governmental and private hospitals, health centers, specialized clinics, safety unit officials, and directors of civil defense units in health institutions. The discussion centered around monitoring safety procedures, identifying major challenges, and devising immediate and effective solutions to overcome these obstacles.
