Baghdad: The Ministry of Planning announced the commencement of weekly educational dialogue sessions as part of its English language program for ministry staff and affiliated departments. This initiative aims to enhance employees’ language skills and align with the ministry’s goal of keeping pace with scientific and technological advancements on both international and local fronts.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the program is organized by the Administrative and Financial Department, Human Resources Division, and Training Section. Taha Ismail, the English language program coordinator in the Training Section and session facilitator, explained that these sessions are intended for employees with intermediate and advanced English proficiency. The sessions will be conducted once a week over a period of three months.
Ismail emphasized that the program offers employees an opportunity to refresh their skills, maintain language proficiency, and further develop their capabilities to improve institutional performance. Several staff members from various departments and affiliated agencies participated in the initial sessions.
