Sunni Endowment Head: Al-Zaidi Vows to Fight Corruption, Enjoys Broad Support


Baghdad: The head of the Sunni Endowment Office, Amer Shaker al-Janabi, affirmed on Monday that the Prime Minister is committed to combating corruption, noting that he enjoys broad popular and political support.



According to Iraqi News Agency, al-Janabi, speaking at a celebration of the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday, emphasized that Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi is continuing his fight against corruption. He highlighted that the Iraqi people rally around the Prime Minister with their support for this campaign.



Al-Janabi further stated that despite the increased burdens and risks, the Prime Minister enjoys significant popular and political support. He acknowledged that although the current stage is challenging, the people and the government, under the leadership of Ali al-Zubaidi, are capable of facing these challenges.



He expressed confidence in the Council of Representatives and its Speaker, Haibat al-Halbousi, to enact laws that serve the people. Al-Janabi pointed out that the Speaker has the courage to make decisions that benefit Iraq and its citizens through legislative actions.
