Riyadh:Oil Minister Basim Mohammed Khudair Al-Abadi held a meeting with Algerian Minister of State and Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, to discuss cooperation in the oil and gas sectors.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting aimed to strengthen bilateral relations and foster joint cooperation between Iraq and Algeria in these critical sectors.

The discussion took place on the sidelines of the World Energy Council conference, which is part of Riyadh Energy Week. Key attendees included the Director General of the State Organization for Marketing of Oil (SOMO), Ali Nizar Al-Shatri, and the Director General of the Economic Department, Alaa Al-Yasiri.
